Integrating Publisher Content and Services in Your Canvas Course
Using Publisher Content and Services
When using Web-based publisher content and services, such as Pearson MyLabsPlus and MyLabs Kiosk, McGraw-Hill Campus, and Cengage MindTap, these must reside in the Canvas. Students are notified extensively that online courses are delivered via Canvas. Please note that publisher products can be directly integrated as Apps into our Canvas instance. This provides Single Sign On (SSO) capability for our students and faculty. After initial signup, SSO capability allows users to login to Canvas, click on the publisher link in their course, then be automatically logged into that resource or service.
The following publisher products may integrate into Canvas:
- McGraw-Hill Campus
- McGraw-Hill Connect
- McGraw-Hill LearnSmart
- Cengage MindTap
- Portal for Cengage Learning products
- Pearson MyLab and Mastering (Kiosk)
- Includes Gradebook sync
- Pearson MyLabsPlus
- Includes Gradebook sync
- ThinkWell

Course cartridges install in Canvas differently than the above Apps. Nevertheless they are another method for installing content from these publishers. Contact the publisher for assistance with course cartridges.
