By using Design Tools, you can easily customize the content of content pages, assignments, the course syllabus, discussion descriptions, and quiz descriptions. For some, Design Tools may seen scary, but the tool offers many basic features as well. For more advanced users, you may consider some of the intermediate and advanced tool options within Design Tools.

Exploring Design Tools

Please complete the following:

Watch the video above for an overview of Design Tools in Canvas.
Open your Canvas Practice Course, create a content page and click to edit the page.
Click the Design Tools Rock Ship on the right side.
Explore the various options and practice designing a page.
Click the "Get Help" link at the bottom of the Design Tools toolbar to explore options for additional training and support.
Click Next when you are ready to continue.
